I’m just gonna go ahead and open with “It was supposed to rain ALL DAY”! You can plan so many things about your wedding day but the weather is definitely not one. However, that definitely did not put a damper on anyone’s spirits, especially Nicole’s In the end, the sky was filled with soft clouds, creating a clean light on everything and nobody got wet, maybe a little muddy… but definitely not wet!
We took most of the photos at Nicole’s Grandparent’s farm. They graciously showed me around two days before and I couldn’t wait to photograph this gorgeous couple around their beautiful home/barn, which just so happens to be where Blair proposed to Nicole by tricking her into thinking there were kittens in the hay loft -when there in fact was no such thing :p
Along with this beautiful couple came a wedding party with great attitudes and smiles, making my job a bajillion times easier Not only did I have a great time on the day of their beautifully planned wedding, but I feel blessed to have been a part of a day filled with so many lovely people. Sometimes I still can’t believe my “Job” can make me feel so fulfilled and happy. I hope you enjoy looking through a few of my favourites from the day, I know I did!
There were a lot of awesome and talented people who made this day possible. so here’s a list of a few. Huge shout out goes to my assistant/second shooter Melissa Keys! She’s like a jack/jill of all trades!
